PLANT PROTEIN FALAFEL BOWL WITH LEAN PROTEIN DIP

Its falafel today ! Falafel is a deep-fried ball made of ground chickpeas and spices and boy oh boy is it tasty! But don’t just take our word for it, whip up a batch of our protein-packed baked falafel and see for yourself!

PLANT PROTEIN FALAFEL BOWL WITH LEAN PROTEIN DIP

Makes 1 serving

Recipe type - Breakfast

 

Ingredients:

- 1 serving of Plant protein mix

- 1 can chickpeas

- ½ cup oat flour

- 2 tbsp lemon juice

- 2 tbsp olive oil

- 1 garlic clove

- 1 red onion

- 1 tsp cumin

- Salt and pepper to taste

- Optional: fresh parsley and cilantro


Directions:

Lean Protein Dip

- 1 serving of Lean Protein

- 2 tbsp lemon juice

- 4-5 tbsp water

- 1/2 minced garlic clove

- Salt and pepper to taste


Lean Protein Dip Garnishing

- 1 handful mixed greens

- vegetables of your choice, chopped up

Directions:

  1. Combine the ingredients for the falafel in a food processor and pulse until well combined. Scoop little balls onto a lined baking tray and bake for about 25-30 / minutes at 360°E, flipping the falafel partway through.
  2. To prepare the dressing, mix the ingredients in a bowl and whisk them together. Pour over the salad and enjoy!
  3. Assemble your salad ingredients in a bowl, add your falafel and top with the dressing.
