You can't go wrong with homemade pesto, but you can definitely go RIGHT with adding our Super greens powder to it for added nutrients and detoxifying goodies 🌱
SUPER GREENS PESTO TOAST
Makes 1 serving
Recipe type - Lunch / Dinner
Ingredients:
- Large bunch of fresh basil leaves.
- 2/3 cup of Cashews or Macadamia Nuts.
- 2 tbsp Super greens Powder.
- 2 cloves garlic.
- 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast .
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil.
- 3-4 tablespoons water .
- Pink salt and pepper to taste.
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a jBlend everything except the water into a high-speed blender or food processor, and blend it up you may need to scrape the side as you go.
- If it's too thick then slowly add in water, 1tbsp at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
- Add more salt or pepper if needed.
- Spread on your favorite toast, mix into pasta, or use as a dip!
